Hitting a Wall

I'm having a really hard time making myself work this week. Last week I accepted a tenure-track job (woohoo!), and it was a really stressful week, as my current job tried amazingly hard to keep me here. And I think that week just took it out of me. It's not that I don't care anymore. I was told to expect that feeling to kick in sometime around now, but I still want to do very good work for my students. I just can't make myself do it. It's like all the energy I had for the rest of this semester got sucked up into last week, and now it's a struggle to make myself do anything work-wise. The cool, rainy weather we've had this week certainly hasn't helped things.

Ugh. At least there's basketball on tonight!
